How is everyone doing today? I am having a particularly great day. The sun is out, the warmth has finally hit New Jersey and I cannot be happier. I went for a walk in the park today with my friend and then we spent a good hour just chatting at a picnic table! When I got back, there was a lovely, little package in my mailbox, my monthly Birchbox! I thought it would be fun to show you guys what came in my little box this month!
The first thing that came in this month's box was a little card of "52 Bright Ideas for a Rainy Day," and I got tip number 25, which is about planning a trip. (Ironic, seeing as how I was just talking about taking a trip and wanting to travel on Wednesday's post.)
After I opened the tissue paper, (loving the blue tissue paper this month!) I found a healthy little snack. The KIND Snacks "Healthy Grains Bar" is the Lifestyle choice this month and I am really excited to try this! I got the flavor "Maple Pumpkin Seeds with Sea Salt." I love that it is Gluten free and that every ingredient is something that I can pronounce and know exactly what it is!
Next is the Paula's Choice "8% AHA Gel Exfoliant." This exfoliator says that it will create radiant, even-toned skin, reveal new, younger skin, which I think is the Alpha Hydroxy Acid in there, and stimulate collagen production! All of that sounds good to me, so I cannot wait to see how this works.
The next product is from Supergoop! and it is their "Daily Correct SPF 35 CC Cream." I have tried a few cc creams and am not a huge fan of them. For those of you out there that don't know what a cc cream is, it is a very lightweight cream (like very little, if any, coverage) that has a Color Correcting serum in it that will, over time, help fade dark spots and uneven tone. I do like that this one has an SPF 35 and will protect against UVA, UVB, and infrared-A rays. This will probably be a beach product for me!
Inside the little pillow pack this month I received two products that I am very happy about. The first is from Anastasia Beverly Hills and it is her "Clear Brow Gel." I have used this product before and love it. It is basically a clear gel to set the powder or pencil that you used to fill in your brows.
A nail polish from Color Club is the final product. It is the color "Breakfast at…" that has me particularly excited. It is a wonderful sea foam green that looks like it will have a metallic-y finish to it!
