As promised, here is the last part of my very large haul and it's all from the drugstore. The brand Flower, finally came into my local Walmart and I went a little crazy! In addition to that, there have been some products that I have been meaning to try for a while, products that I love and wanted in more colors, and products that I thought just looked pretty, in this post.
The first stop was Walmart. Flower cosmetics finally came into my local store and I have been super excited to try more of their line ever since I got their bb cream a year ago. The first thing I picked up was their liquid foundation. In the store I think the display said it was light to medium coverage. I am super excited to try this, as base makeup is my favorite.
The next two product I got are the Color Play Creme Eyeshadows, which apply as a cream consistency and dry as a powder. I have the colors "Flirty Floret" (which is a dark bronze color) and "Wild Geranium" (which is a rosy, light gold color). Since buying these I have worn them each a few times and they are pretty nice. The only downside is they do crease after a few hours with no primer underneath.
Sticking with the eye products theme, I also picked up an eyeshadow quad from them. The one I have is called "Secret Garden" and it, literally, is like Tinkerbell in an eyeshadow palette. In the quad there are two green shadows, a baby pink color, and a purple shadow with little gold flecks in it.
Raise Some Brows eyebrow pencil is the next product that went into my basket. I love the big, bold, Lily Collins and Cara Delvigne brows, so anything that will help me get that is something that I need in my life. I have been looking for a good drugstore brow product for a while, so I figured I would give this little guy a shot. I got my pencil in the color "Light Brown."
The final two products from the line are lip products. The first is the Lip Suede Velvet Lip Chubby in "Berry-more," which looks similar to the Revlon one and I love those, so I hope i love these as well. The second lip product is one of their Sheer Up Lip Tint in "Sheer Blossom." It looks like it will be similar to the Clinique lip chubby sticks. I love them for an everyday, no fuss lip, so I can't wait to try this one.
Next I popped into my local drugstore and they were having really good sales on almost every cosmetics line. The first brand I stopped by was Wet n Wild. I picked up a Megalast nail polish in "207B Bite the Bullet." Since it was buy one, get one 50% off, I choose a lipstick in "914C," because, for like two dollars, it is a really nice formulation.
Revlon was having the same buy one, get one 50% off as well and I have wanted the Photofinish SkinLights in "100 Bare Light" for a while, plus I had a some cash back dollars to use. To accompany that I picked up another of the Colorburst Matte Balm sticks, this shade is in "230 Complex," which is a pretty, peachy nude color.
Sally Hansen released their Triple Shine nail polishes and there was, again, a sale when I bought them, so I picked out three of them. The first is "Hypnautical 370," which a blue/green/purple-flecked top coat. "Pool Party 150" is a solid light, baby blue, and finally "Scale Up 340," is a green/blue/pink-flecked top coat. I love nail polish so I can't wait to see how these perform.
