It has been over three weeks since I last posted and I'm so sorry. It it coming down to the last week of my college semester and that means a crap ton of finals, papers and projects. While trying to tackle the giant pile of assignments I have to get done, I haven't had much time to blog. That will change as soon as school is over. So for today, (I know it's a little late, well a lot late!) here is everything that I was loving in the month of April!
Last month I have found another great foundation. I have the hardest time finding foundations that I love, so when I find one I tend to stick with it! The Laura Mercier "Silk Creme Foundation" has been raved about for years and for some reason I never tried it, but now that I have, I am hooked! It is a full coverage foundation that has a luminous finish! I am in the color Rose Ivory.
The next favorite is from Revlon, and it is their "Photoready Skinlights" in "100 Bare Light." This just adds a beautiful, subtle shimmer to the skin. I, sometimes will either, apply it before my foundation or I will mix it in with my foundation. Either way its has a subtle "glow from within" effect.
My next item could be a "Holy Grail" product for me. The Nars "Radiant Creamy Concealer," is my go-to, everyday under eye concealer. It is full coverage, but not cakey. It doesn't move through the day and lasts all day long. Like it's name suggests, it is a creamy consistency, which is great for under the eye area because it glides on easily and doesn't tug the delicate skin. I am on my second tube of this and still haven't found anything that I like better! I wear the shade "Vanilla."
Next we have a cream blush from Nars. The "Matte Multiple in Laos," was one of the blushes that I hauled a few weeks ago. The color is a gorgeous dark coral, peachy-pink color, and it looks like a natural flush on the skin. The formulation of this is amazing, they do not separate throughout the day and are incredibly pigmented.
For my eyes I have been using this product pretty much everyday for the past month! The Mac "Paint Pot in Painterly," has been my go-to eye shadow base. It is a matte, neutral colored base, that helps my eyeshadow go on smoother, last longer, and makes the shadows more vibrant.
My final product for last month is from the Mac "Playland Collection," and it is the Lipglass in "Pure Silliness." This is such a fun, spring time, bright pink color! I love wearing this lipgloss with very little eye makeup, too let it be the focus!
