Hey Guys,
Last week I
started building my portfolio with a look that I have had in my head for a couple
weeks now. It is a relatively simple look, based off the character, “The Ghost
of Christmas Present,” from the movie A
Christmas Carol. I was nervous for
how the pictures were going to turn out, (seeing as how I can barely work the
camera, and know even less about lighting) but I was pleasantly surprised with
how the look and photo’s came out!
A huge
thank you goes out to my sister for being the model. She is not a huge fan of the
feeling of makeup on her skin, so this meant a lot that she was willing to put
up with it to help me out. I appreciate her patience and her supportiveness in
following my dreams.
I have been
working hard to increase my skills and artistry level, and am very pleased with
how this look came out. As far as I have come, I know I always will have more
to learn and perfect! That is what makes being a makeup artist fun, there is
never one way to do things, and trends, techniques, and ideas are always
evolving and changing.
So without
further ado, here are the final two pictures for my portfolio (which have been
edited slightly). Following that is a list of the products that I used to create this look and a few other photos that I thought came out well (these were not
edited in any way).
